Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is just around the corner.  It's always been an important holiday to me.  I don't really know why, but I think it has something to do with the fact that my birthday is in February too.  I almost feel like someone whose birthday is around Christmas - everyone gets them one gift that is for Christmas and their birthday.  For me, it's a combined birthday and Valentine's Day gift.  It just doesn't seem fair.  :)    

Either way, I think every little girl deserves to be treated like a princess and told how much they are loved on Valentine's Day, so I was inspired to come up with some tutus to represent the occasion.  I hope you like them!

This month, I've been focusing my efforts on designing holiday tutus.  The holidays are rapidly approaching, so get your orders in fast!  Tutus are perfect for holiday photos or as a gift for the little princess in your life.  How can you not feel beautiful when you put on an extra-fluffy skirt and twirl around?!?!

Back to Business

The last year and a half has been a whirlwind for me!  My first child was born in July of 2011.  Talk about life changing!  I feel like it was just yesterday.  She is the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me.

I took a short break from promoting my new business during the first year of her life (and for several months before due to being put on strict bed rest).  Between my regular job and learning how to be a new mom, I had little time to do anything else.  Now I'm ready to get back to business!  

Sometimes a break is the best thing you can do for yourself.  For me, it gave me time to try out new ideas to help expand my business and offer more products.  With that said, in addition to customized swarovski crystal products, I am going to begin offering handmade tutus.  I hope you will follow me in this journey and, as always, I welcome any comments, questions, or suggestions you may have.

Bling for Babies

These shoes were a great baby shower gift idea and they turned out great (especially when combined with the matching hat)!  Now, I've started thinking of all kinds of baby things that could be customized with Swarovski crystals - hair bows, wall decorations, car seat covers, blankets - the list could go on.  What better way to make your baby stand out?  

That's the thing I love about Swarovski crystals - the customization possibilities are endless and every customized item is guaranteed to turn heads.  On to the next project...    

Swarovski Baby Shower Gifts

It's the season of weddings...and baby showers.  Last night, I started working on a customized baby shower gift.  The idea was simple...a hat personalized with the baby's name and small flower along with matching shoes.  Sometimes simple can turn out amazing and I think this is a perfect example.  I couldn't wait to share my progress - the hat is complete and I just have one more shoe to finish.  Imagine how great they will look when I am finished!
